Purpose of Job:
Strengthen the companies ARQ and Insurance function, focusing on the following area’s

• Actuarial Audit Support – Being involved in audit support work across life and general insurers
• Insurance risk and capital – Assist with development and driving of our Risk and Capital offering. Being involved in such work for insurers.
• Balance Sheet Management offering – Assist in developing our BSM offering
• Revenue generation and sales to potential clients.
• Extensive regional travel required

Key Outputs:
• Strengthen the ARQ and Insurance function

Experience and requirements:
• 5 + years of actuarial experience
• Actuarial team management including people management
• Leadership experience
• Experience in influencing strategy within an organisation

Qualifications:
Minimum Bachelor Degree in Actuarial Science

Professional Affiliations:
Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries
Fellow of the Actuarial Society of South Africa, preferably

Specialization:
Actuarial Science, Insurance
