Job Role
Support the Head of Product in assessing the performance of the program and the financial impact it is having on partner businesses.

You will be challenged to apply your actuarial and analytical skill sets in setting up new frameworks to measure program impact across a range of financial services businesses spanning life and short-term insurance, savings and investments, medical schemes and lending.

Your insights will help share the Group’s product development and investments decisions amongst top management.

Requirements
• Creating business analytics that links behavioural, financial and member data.
• Actuarial basis calculations and experience analyses.
• Work closely with technical data analysts to ensure quality metrics, perform reasonability checks and perform trend analyses.
• Maintain benefit usage models for reporting, measurement and monitoring of business impact and business intelligence purposes.
• Actively engaging with multiple service and data providers to ensure consistency and quality of outputs.
• Documenting tasks, investigations and decisions.

Qualifications
• Actuarial student who has passed Technical, Intermediate and Core subjects.
• Preference to candidates who have attempted Specialist technical subjects.
• Good progress with Actuarial exams, all technical and CT subjects.

Experience
• Experience with working in MS SQL or similar date warehouse environment.
• Experience with valuation of life insurance products is preferable but not essential.
• Experience in Actuarial Systems Control will be an advantage.
