A innovative dynamic leader in the industry is currently looking for an admin clerk who has got experience in the following industries, engineering, manufacturing and steel.


 R 9000 – R 11 000 pm


  • 3 years debtors and creditors experience

  • Good accounting knowledge

  • Debt collecting

  • Interact with colleagues at different branches

  • Resolve all queries

  • Preform all debtor related functions in terms of the company’s Debtors Policy.

  • Collection of outstanding debt with a target of less than 15% on 60 days and more.

  • Following up of clients with outstanding debt, and the restructuring of the debt to assist the client and at the same time to ensure the company collects the debt.

  • To take responsibility for the debtors allocated to you and their debt collection.

  • Overseeing your debtor account maintenance process which includes the up to date keeping             of the following:

    • Collection notes

    • Credit notes

    • Processing of payments

    • Proof of delivery

    • Customer receipts updated on system

  • The execution of the following with month end:

    • Interest Run

    • Statement run

    • Figures to Finance Department

    • Staff deductions to the Payroll department.

  • Familiarise yourself with all policies and procedures relating to your job and adhere to them at all times.

  • Reconciliation of supplier accounts

  • Interact with colleagues at different branches

  • Resolve all queries

  • Daily processing of credit applications including the forwarding thereof to the necessary insurance company, and communicating with the applicant of the outcome

  • Capturing of account amendments on the system and the communication thereof with relevant role-players

  • Handling of Group staff debt

  • General office administration

  • Assistance with stock taking

  • Daily Register and verifying of documents.

  • Communicating of account amendments on the system and to all relevant role-players

  • Handling of related queries

  • General office administration

  • Any other duties assigned to you by your manager or a manager who is authorised to give such an instruction
