Administration Clerk / Branch Administrator / Stock Administrator - Maitland Cape Town

Our client a FMCG concern in Maitland Cape Town is looking for an Office Administrator / Administration Clerk / Stock administrator to assist with general branch stock administration duties.

Salary Negotiable to experience, Hours of work Monday to Thursday from 08:00 – 15:00 & Friday 08:00 – 15:00

Min Requirements
• Matric
• 3-5 years’ experience in a similar work environment – FMCG Products Environment
• Experience in Stock Control and Management
• Experience in ordering of stock, invoices, GRV’s and buying
• Excellent in Excel for stock accounts purposes
• Experience with Invoicing, GRV’s and general account administration

Job Description
• All Office Administration Duties like filling, post, printing, scanning and record keeping
• Receptionist switchboard duties when required
• Handling and managing Petty Cash
• Receive and process Orders
• Invoicing – Process each customer invoice and liaise with warehouse manager regarding list of customer required invoices
• Buying Function – ensure that there is accurate stock control, safety stock and control dead stock.
• Customer Credits – Investigate each client’s request for credit, prepare all documentation to pass for credit, process all approved credit notes
• Stock take – Assist the stock controller during stock takes includes data capturing reconciling and recounting
• Stock purchases – Place orders for stock if needed with relevant suppliers, follow up with supplier regarding outstanding orders
• Maintain product stock levels
• GRV delivery Notes and invoices on In-house system, training to be provided
• HACCP – Make sure all visitors sign in and follow HACCP rules (Training to be supplied)
