Overall purpose of the position:

The purpose of the position is to provide administrative support to the Insurance Advisers.

Job Specifications:
• Must be able to work with clients on a face to face level and telephonically
• Data capturing of confidential information into the business systems
• Record keeping (electronic and hard copy filing)
• Provide administrative support
• Assistance with ad hoc projects

Qualifications & Experience:
• Grade 12
• Computer literate (MS Outlook, Excel and Word)
• Previous data capturing, and administrative experience
• Previous experience in the short-term insurance industry will serve as an advantage (Commercial and Personal Lines and claims)
• Experience working on the different Insurance Systems; SKI, Santam Policy Centre, Discovery, OM Insure and be willing to learn new systems and receive training as required
• Experience working on the MyPractice System
• Must be willing to stay up-to-date with training of the different Insurance Companies and the requirements of the FSCA
