Networks: Associate – Medical Scheme – Pretoria – 6 Months Contract

Reports to: Networks and Provider Relations Specialist

JOB SUMMARY
? To support the Networks Officer in the following:
? Managing the Scheme’s healthcare networks.
? Managing the Scheme’s Designated Service Providers (DSP)
? Monitoring and managing the Scheme’s Provider Relations Strategy (PRS), including meetings and conferences
? Uploading and updating documents on SharePoint
? Monitoring the Scheme’s Clinical Risk Profile

? Service Providers Network (MHRS) and Healthcare Providers


KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

ADMINISTRATION
? Collect provider network contracts for all HM related networks, register them in the register and arrange for collection with the relevant SPN.
? Register querieson Share point query tracker and follow up till resolution.


SCHEME PROVIDER NETWORKS
? Assists monitor and manage the Schemes’ healthcare networks.
? Forward all requests to join the network from providers that were sent via the PO’s Office to the relevant SPN and follow up on registration and ensure that feedback to the provider is provided.
? Maintain a network target tracking document for all Healthcare Management related networks.
? Maintain the SPN requests tracking tool
? Maintain the Provider contact list up to date.
? Assist monitoring the Scheme’s clinical Risk Profile.
? Prepare attendance registers for all provider engagements according to the PRS.
? Assist the Networks Officer with setting the agendas and ensuring the minutes are attached to all provider engagements five days before the engagements.
? Assist with the filing of all documents related to provider engagements.


NETWORKS MANAGEMENT
? Assist in liaising with healthcare providers with regard to their network agreements with the Scheme.
? Ensure that the relevant SPN register the new healthcare providers on the network.

? Update the network target tracking document.
? Follow-up and update network requests from the PO’s office.

YEAR-END (COMMUNICATIONS; GIFTS; and FESTIVE SEASON GREETINGS)
? Co-ordinator the functional approval of year-end communications to members and healthcare providers
? Co-ordinate the purchasing and distribution of year-end gifts to stakeholders
? Assist in developing an e-mail blast for festive season greetings and well wishes

DESIGNATED SERVICE PROVIDERS (DSP)
? Assist, monitor and manage the Scheme’s Designated Service Providers.

PROVIDER RELATIONS STRATEGY (PRS)
? Assist, monitor and manage the Scheme’s PRS including updating the PRS accordingly as dates change and add new societies added to the PRS.
? Assist with the logistical organization of all HM related provider events sponsorships (including keeping track of the upcoming events and ensuring all POs and material is available for the event, etc.).
? Keep the PRS documents up to date and relevant

REQUIREMENTS
Essential
? At least 3 years degree, Diploma or NQF Level 5 qualification in Office Administration or Secretarial
? At least 3 years office administration work experience
? Be organised and have good time management skills
? Be analytical and have the ability to manage priorities
? Have excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
? Have ability to work well as part of a team;
? Be computer literate on advanced level
? Be responsible and reliable
? Have a diligent work ethics with attention to detail
