B.Com (Accounting) Honours or CA (SA) or BCom (LLB) or other relevant degree
Post graduate qualification in Tax would be an advantage
A Masters degree would be an advantage
5-10 years’ experience in client advisory within a professional environment
Strong business acumen
Tax skills and research background would be a definite advantage

Must Have:
Passion for Africa, follow current events on the continent and be topical
Demonstrated experience in building and developing client relationships
Ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines
Ability to work individually as well as in teams
There will be limited travel and the suitable candidate should be prepared to travel to the rest of the continent should the need arise
Sensitivity to and ability to adapt style to different individuals and circumstances
Maturity and confidence to engage with Senior Executives on their Africa strategy
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
