Your key job responsibilities as the Afrikaans speaking Social and Online Writer in Johannesburg will include:

- Write engaging copy demonstrating the ability to translate broadcast events into news and feature articles
- Write various content types such as website copy, articles, headlines, image captions, video abstracts etc.
- Maintain and create original content for website and online platforms
- Upload, publish and promote content on the online and social platforms
- Researching, interviewing and sourcing information and news stories
- Working with video team on content for online and social platforms, required to attend shoots where necessary
- Coordinating and sourcing content
- Reporting and analysis of stats and trends
- Keep up to date with the latest social media trends and practices
- Enhancing online and social media strategies and implementation
- Cross-platform publishing with various CMS’s
- Management of social communities
- Required to be available for shifts including evening or weekends, project dependent

Requirements for this Afrikaans speaking Social and Online Writer job in Johannesburg:

- Me be able to speak, write and publish in Afrikaans (communication in English is also necessary)
- Experience with image editing software, such as Photoshop, an advantage
- Needs to be familiar with online and social media platforms and publishing in a professional environment (i.e. Websites, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram etc.)
