We are currently recruiting for an Communications Assistant Manager to assist with developing and implementing customer/channel specific category plans based on category and shopper insights to grow market share within the Ethnic (Afro) Hair category

Minimum Requirements/Criteria include:

• Relevant Degree - preferably in Marketing/Communication or similar (essential)



• Experience in roles dealing with ethnic/afro hair within South Africa and the Africa region (essential)



• Strong strategic thinking and an ability to provide superior consumer and customer insight



• Store activations experience is a crucial advantage



• Exceptional leadership and communication skills (written and spoken)

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

• Proactively identifying tactical opportunities for the business



• Assisting with executing category planning through developing quarterly and monthly category plans for assortment, shelf-layout, promotional strategy, price positions



• Implementing customer marketing plan activities - Salon activation, Salons training - model development, Activation ideas etc



• Measuring and reviewing category performance

Location: Successful incumbent will primarily be based in Durban, KZN.
