We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join a private Aged Care facility, situated in Northern Suburbs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and develop a nursing care plan for each resident.
• Evaluate and review effects of care plan on patient health status
• Daily involvement with all aspects of care.
• Recording of observations, care given and resident’s response.
• Ensure that basic needs and activities of daily living are met.
• Implement mobility/exercise and activity program for all residents.
• Ensure special diets given as per care plan.
• Monitor fluid balance, elimination status and nutritional state.
• Report any change in health status to Nursing Manager and/or Doctor.
• Implement medication and other therapy as per doctor’s prescription.

Requirements:

• Proof of registration with the SANC
• Experience and Knowledge – Dementia care, frail care, palliative care, rehab, strokes
• Well-developed interpersonal and organisational skills
