One of our leading betting companies is looking for an Agile Coach to join their team. They are an innovative, fast growing and disruptive company. They are a technology and services provider of turnkey digital and retail enterprise wagering solutions to sports betting operators in Africa and other emerging markets. Their clients include multi-national lottery organisations, blue chip casino groups, bookmakers and online casinos across Africa.
 

Purpose of the role:

The purpose of the role is to take on the administrative, coaching and leadership tasks to execute the agile methodology in the team. As the Agile Coach you will work closely with the Technology team to streamline the development tasks.
 

Key outputs include (but not limited to) the below:

• Managing metrics on delivery and the process of constant improvement;
• Facilitation of daily meetings, planning, demo’s and retrospective meetings;
• Create useful, reliable and practical plans for software development deliverables;
• Continually coach individuals and interactions over agile processes and tools;
• Help the team and or individual to clarify goals and actions to achieve them;
• Champion the agile development process;
• Buffer the team from any distractions; and
• Build metrics and continuously measure and improve the development process.

Previous experience required:

• Previous experience in leading a team;
• Previous experience in an Agile Development Process;
• No less than 3 years Scrum or Kanban experience;
• Coding experience will be to your advantage; and 
• Previous experience in multi-national lottery organisations or  blue chip casino groups or bookmakers or online casinos to your advantage.
