International company that provides consulting services in all fields of civil and structural engineering, as well as environmental services which also features specialist companies operating in the fields of geotechnical, environmental and geosciences, pavement technology, traffic and transportation, materials testing, and institutional support is expanding and looking for a qualified Agricultural Engineer to join the team in Pietermaritzburg – Kwa Zulu - Natal.

Experience Required

• BSc Agricultural Engineering Degree or equivalent qualification (Required)
• Professional Registration with ECSA as a Pr. Eng. (Required)
• Min 5 - 10 yrs experience in all aspects of Agricultural Engineering (Required)
• Min 5 - 10 yrs experience in design, installation and management of irrigation schemes (Required)
• Min 5 - 10 yrs experience in design of runoff management and soil conservation structures (Required)
• Min 5 - 10 yrs experience in design of agricultural structures and roads (Required)
• Min 5 - 10 yrs experience design and management of agro-processing facilities (Required)
• Min 5 - 10 yrs experience in design of agricultural power and energy systems (Required)
• Min 5 - 10 yrs experience in agricultural potential assessments and feasibility studies (Required)
• Min 5 - 10 yrs experience in water resource assessments and yield analysis (Required)
• Min 5 - 10 yrs experience in design flood hydrology and hydraulic modelling for flood line estimation (Required)
• Min 5 - 10 yrs experience in crop yield modelling (Required)
• Min 5 - 10 yrs experience in preparation of design reports and contract documents (Required)
• Min 5 - 10 yrs experience in supervision and management of construction (Required)
• Min 5 yrs working knowledge and experience in soil science, agricultural economics and software development (Required)
• Valid driver’s license and be prepared to work in the field as well as the office(Required)
