Our client, a leading and successful Agricultural Company has a vacancy for two Agricultural Technicians to join their team.

The Agricultural technician must be able to control and eliminate viruses, whether indoors or outdoors, and use specialized tools to study plants and soils. They will work closely with farmers and companies.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Tasked with developing and improving ideas to make crops grow more efficiently in their environments
• Run series of tests and experiments with different variables to determine which soil, bacteria, etc. is most suitable for a crop
• Evaluate results and draw conclusions
• Run different experiments
• Work in greenhouses and farms to evaluate the health of crops


REQUIREMENTS:
• Previous experience as an agricultural technician advantageous
• A Bachelor's degree in an agricultural field
• Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans
• Interpersonal skills / team work
• Ability to focus on detail
• Excellent communication skills & friendly disposition
• EE candidates will be given preference in line with the companies BEE targets

SALARY:

R5 000 - R14 000 depending on experience


WORKING HOURS:

08:00 -17:00
