This newly created position is an ideal opportunity for a young and dynamic Biologist who holds a BSc degree in entomology / horticulture / viticulture.

The job incumbent will be responsible for:
? interpretation from the SATI biological database and follow-up actions
? monitoring of specific aspects of phytosanitary quality standards in conjunction with producers in the various table grape regions
? liaison with database and IT service providers
? technology transfer and practical technical investigation w.r.t. optimal post-harvest requirements
? execution of specific technical projects in conjunction with industry role-players and stakeholders.

The ideal applicant has:
? a keen interest and aptitude for agricultural biology, staying abreast of research publications in targeted disciplines, interpretation of technical information/data and working within the full agricultural export supply chain
? IT proficiency (Excel and databases)
? a post-graduate qualification and experience in the production and export of table grapes will serve as recommendation.
