Job purpose

Training, knowledge transfer and declaring of employees competent in performing Landscaping machinery operation. Updating of training manuals and standard operating procedures for Landscaping Machineries.

Minimum Requirements

More than 5 years’ experience in the mechanical, technical, mining and Industrial field is essential.
Competent and knowledge of the following Landscaping Machinery unit standard is essential: US ID: 116142,264195,264182,
117076,264194,119697,119966,5737
Technical qualification will be an added advantage.
Experience on all LDV’S Hino trucks, tractors Landiniand J Deere all specialised turf and golf course equipment (Industrial ride on mowers to utility mowers)
Valid driver’s license code 10
Fully computer literate
Excellent communication skills, strong in admin and report writing skills
Excellent in fault finding and diagnostics experience
SHEQR experience and the ability to implement as per the directives
Ability to work overtime, to uphold confidential and sensitive issues brought to workshop
Committed and willing to make occasional personal sacrifices to meet deadlines
Key Performance Indicators

Training of all the technical team on operating a milling machine, conducting safety checks and inspection for utilisation of the machine.
Training the technical team and all Operators on Manufacture’s checklist, pre-operational checklist, daily checklist and site specific checklist that should be adhered to.
Training the technical team on how to operate Chainsaw for Limbing& Logging At Ground Level, prepare for use, correct application of personal protective equipment, problems identification and remedial during operating.
Effective and safe operating of Brushcuttersin the Horticulture, pre-operation checks, PPE and fault finding.
Prepare, Operate & Maintain a Tractor, condition of the tractor.
Training on operating Specialised Walk Behind Mowers, checking the working area, clearing debris, problem solving
Mowing Lawns in Landscaped Areas, Safety check list and operation.
Training on operating a tractor and ancillary equipment attached to the tractor safely by doing work area observation and pre use inspection.
Cutting Machines, PPE, operating space and area, hazards of cutting machines. Safety Operation
