Minimum Requirements:

Diploma, B Sc. Agric. or B.Agric. with Agronomy, Horticulture and/ or Soil Science as major subjects,Plant Sciences, Biology, Microbiology
5 -10 years' experience in citrus plant nutrition is essential.
Understanding, experience and knowledge of good agronomic practices.
Broad technical know-how of crops, products and farming practices
Basic trial design and agronomic crop production understanding.
Must be willing to travel and have good interpersonal skills


Responsibilities:

Develop and implement product demonstrations in field and region to support overall sales and marketing strategy.
Investigate, understand, capture and communicate aspects of key crop production.
Implement regional business strategies and plans consistent with overall marketing and sales strategy.
Implement agreed demonstrations and infield marketing trials and activities to influence and support sales.
Record and collate information and data to support all product performance and support Marketing with relevant data for development of promotional marketing material.
Identify key crop, product and market opportunities and threats.
Develop the competence, motivation and commitment of Dealers and Agents through effective training, promotion and sales support aids.
Keep abreast of market, trade and competitor activity in order to revise strategies to meet changing requirements.
Promote and introduce products.
Create demand for the comprehensive range of water soluble and foliar products, trace elements and organic soil conditioners.
Establish demo trials on field days.
Engaging/collaborating with stakeholders.
Market intelligence and crop production information gathering.
