Skills, Knowledge and Education:
• Tertiary qualification majoring in mathematics and statistics
• Studying towards or a completed Honours degree is an advantage
• Economics and management account qualification (advantageous)
• Excel, Minitab and MS SQL (Advanced)
• Wizard back office literacy
• Comprehensive mathematical and statistical expertise
• Thorough understanding of the contribution model
• Knowledge of project management
Key Performance Areas:
• Gain pricing information
• Develop pricing model
• Use contribution model to determine contribution for different variables
• Analyse information, question the norm and make proposals
• Document and distribute information to relevant segment managers
• Evaluate current non-contracted default pricing
• Compare findings to competitor pricing monthly
• Recalculate/analyse pricing and product relationships offered to maintain competitiveness and ability to yield
• Ensure rates are loaded accurately in the WARLOC/Wizard systems within 24 hours
• Evaluate implication and demand for new products and set-up programmes in WALOC
• Ensure that default rates are correct and applicable in the Wizard system
• Action project plan as per steps identified
• Provide feedback on progress and implement project as per deadline
• Maintain special projects database
