Our client, a dynamic, well-established organisation is seeking an individual with strong android development experience.   An individual that thinks beyond just how to code the task at hand but constantly evaluates how the end user will experience the solution and adjust accordingly. Work on very diverse projects that cover retail, exhibition and corporate environment, solving problems for their clients by providing intuitive software designed for the end user.  Their solutions are more than just efficient code. They focus very heavily on the end user experience. This includes functionality as well as how the user experiences the solution. Delivery environments include Desktop, Touchscreen, iOS and android as well as IOT (internet of things) integration.

Job Skills, Experience and Qualifications Requirements:

• Relevant degree or diploma advantageous
• Strong knowledge, experience and understanding of Mobile development across platforms iOS and Android
• Minimum 3 – 5 years previous experience in developing on mobile platforms ESSENTIAL
• Innovative thinker
• Strong team work ability 

 Additional Information:

• Deadlines can be very tight and the work can be challenging but very rewarding when the finalproduct is delivered.
• They have no hard rules with regards to final qualifications and are more interested in team players with a passion to play and learn. The ideal candidate will have the following  characteristics:
  • A love for hard work, independently and in close collaboration. The ability to both prototype messily and obsess over detail.  Strong, well-formed opinions and humble receptiveness to new ideas.
  • Sense of humour and play
  • A passion to play and explore. Yet know when to curb in the reigns in order to deliver aproject on time. Not to be set in only one language or environment.
  • Ability to identify when a specific development environment is perfect for us to commercially explore and push it to its limits.
  • Think beyond just how to code the task at hand but constantly evaluate how the end user will experience the solution and adjust accordingly.
