Job Description:
Complete coding tasks on time and to specifications agreed upon
Assists and Mentors Jnr and Mid-Level Developers with their coding tasks
Constantly taking initiative to learn technical skills required by the business

Job Skills and experience required:
Write code in the language required within deadline and to specification
Learn new skills through research
Search online for solutions to problems
Improve coding capabilities over time
Finish projects fast and accurately
Learn to trouble-shoot issues alone
Work with a team of developers
Understand the customer's business requirements
Be able to design a coding solution based on the brief from a Business Requirements Specification
Report to the Team Lead on coding issues
Communicate coding progress to Team Lead
Report to the Development Manager on project issues
Communicate coding progress to Development Manager if required
Understand the technical architecture of the solution
Be able to create a technical architecture to the Develoment Team
Assist and Mentor Jnr and Mid-Level Developers
Good knowledge and understanding of the SDLC requirements
Strong written and verbal skills
Ability to set and accomplish goals, meet deadlines, and deliver high quality support with limited management oversight
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; the demonstrated ability to approach complex problems logically and systematically
