Maxxor is a Cape Town based software development company helps enterprises to mobile-enable their employees through enterprise mobile applications. We are recruiting an Application Support Administrator to provide sales support and end user support for our enterprise mobile solutions. The position is based at our offices in Century City, Cape Town. At present, working hours are office hours but in future some shift work and remote work from home will be required.

Role and Responsibilities
• Respond to sales and application support queries via emails, telephone, online chat and social media
• Work in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Participate in daily Scrum standups and uphold the principles and methodologies of Scrum
• Escalate technical issues to the relevant teams and communicate resolution to customers
• Assist with data loading for new and existing customers
• Assist with application testing for new versions of the application on various mobile devices.
• Assist the marketing team with marketing activities
• Ad doc administrative duties on application requirements

Future requirements:
• Alternate between day and evening shifts so as to provide 24x7 support to customers
• Work from home for evening and weekend shifts (we will provide broadband connectivity and all equipment)

Minimum requirements

• Min of 3 years sales or customer support experience accompanied with a Matric certificate
• Experience in one or more of the following industry sectors: software, Internet, digital marketing, mobile, new media.
• Extremely competent with using mobile tablets and mobile phones
• Extremely computer-literate and Internet-savvy
• Excellent understanding of Microsoft Office Package
• Excellent customer liaison skills
• Able to work independently as well as in a team
• A good understanding of broad business processes and principles
• Dynamic self-starter: highly motivated / enthusiastic / energetic
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral in English
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Delivery-focused
• Analytical and objective, with attention to detail
• Comfortable in a rapidly-changing environment
