Microsoft SQL scripting Knowledge

Retail and financial systems support experience and knowledge required.

Crystal Reports Knowledge

Application Support Experience

Knowledge or experience in ACCPAC, RMS, Tourplan and Maximizer is an advantage

Due to the nature of the work and the location of regional offices and lodges, extensive traveling is required.

The Application Support Engineer is responsible for monitoring and maintaining software applications

relating to the business functions.

Monitor Applications and services

Log Systems Incidents, Problems and Changes via the Service Management System

To provide systems support on core applications

To take ownership of Tier 2 systems problems

Keep stakeholders up to date with requests, changes, tasks, incidents and problems.

To escalate more complex issues to management

Deliver on tasks contributing towards project delivery

Updating and maintaining ICT knowledge base and related documentation

To liaise with third parties to achieve the ICT objectives

Contribute to delivering an after-hours support services

Deliver on tasks contributing towards project delivery.

Due to the nature of the work and the location of regional offices and lodges, extensive traveling is required.
