The Application Support Specialist ensures the stability and availability of specific applications responsible for in the Production Environment Performs First Level Support on incidents and RFS related to specific applications Manage unassigned calls for applications responsible for Coordinates and reviews the scheduled tasks / maintenance tasks and monitors their scheduling and execution Reviews monitoring reports and initiates appropriate actions to ensure application availability and performance Performs a support and SME function particular to responsible application for the correct setup of the development test and QA environments Manage the implementation of Changes and Releases into the production environment Manage the Disaster Recovery process and assist in the testing of the applications responsible for


Requirements
Matric
At least 5 years experience in an Application Support Role
At least 2 years Insurance knowledge
Business Analyst Diploma or equivalent if relevant to the application supported would be beneficial
ITIL Foundation Certification would be beneficial
FAIS accredited would be beneficial
