Architectural Technician

Location: Plettenberg Bay, Garden Route, Western Cape
Salary: Market Related / Negotiable

Purpose of the Role:
To work closely with the Principal Architect and other building professionals, providing architectural design services and solutions on construction projects.

Requirements:
Tertiary qualification in Architecture – Degree or Diploma
2 - 3 years’ experience in a similar role within an architecture firm
Relevant architectural software/design programs
Experience working on residential/corporate developments
Knowledge of council regulations and submissions
Coordinating presentations
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to function well within a team
Professional communication skills - verbal and written
Problem solving skills and generating solution driven ideas

Duties:
Preparation of designs, plans and layouts
Keep plans and filing up to date
Assisting the Principal Architect with quality assurance plans
Provide administrative support where necessary
Snagging/ creating checklists
Spatial planning
Doing daily and weekly time and work flow management
Updating the necessary database & templates
