This group of farms in South Africa is looking for a dynamic individual responsible for various farms totaling up to 600 ha in an area.

AREA FARMING MANAGER: 600 HA CITRUS/ OTHER PERMANENT CROPS
LIMPOPO/ MPUMALANGA

Requirements:
- Degree in Agriculture with 3-5 years experience in managing larger units of farming
- Above average people-, communication skills
- Computer literacy in MS Office
- Valid drivers license

Responsibilities include:
- Organogram design and implementation.
- Lead a management team to manage farms according to high standards.
- Oversee implementation of company policies and statutory requirements
- Measurement and feedback of management performance
- Implement measuring and feedback models in all departments of the production of fruit in area.
- Oversee that all practices wrt soil, fertilizer, water , light management is done optimal.
- Manage an admin finance team so that all requirements wrt budgets, management accounts and admin is done according to expected standards
- Oversee all logistics like harvesting, spraying etc.

- Be on the lookout and propose strategic actions for the benefit of the company.
- Oversee that all maintenance is done according to company standards
- Drive all processes in order to maximize long term profits.
