Our automotive distributor client in Midrand is looking to employ an Area Manager with motor industry experience. To ensure the successful delivery of Automobile wholesale and retail sales objectives through effective dealer management for the defined area. Working closely with dealers to develop a strong manufacturer / dealer business relationship offering the necessary support and guidance to achieve mutual objectives. 2. MAJOR TASK HEADINGS (High level Key Performance Areas/Outputs. What do you do every day/month; what are you measured on?) 1. Dealer sales target and financial review (Monthly dealer visits) 2. AOR (PMA) statistic understanding and application 3. Realign sales objectives and strategize action plans to achieve set objectives 4. Identifying and manage all sales performance barriers (KPI/ Scorecard Management) 5. Ensure franchise standards are maintained 6. Marketing and promotion of product at dealer level (CI management) 7. Implement sales support programmes 8. Ensure correct stocking levels to achieve sales objectives 9. Dealer ageing stock management 10. Dealer sales staff competency review 11. Ensure dealer has adequate sales training to support objectives 12. Quality of customer handling and sales process 13. Monitor customer satisfaction scores and create focus where necessary 14.
