Introduction:
Artisan / Cylindrical Grinder that has +/-10 years’ experience in the engineering industry.

Requirements:
• Based in Gauteng
• Must have knowledge and experience in the following:
? Read and interpret complex technical drawings.
? Must be able to work to tight tolerances.
? Must be able to work over time.
? Own Transport essential.

Job specification:
• Set-up and operate the appropriate production resources.
• Set-up of Jobs on the various machines.
• Assist the foreman to plan tasks on daily basis.
• Be able to use Measuring equipment including Micrometers and Profilometers.
• Do Basic Calculations.
• Calibrate measuring equipment.
• Operate crane.
• Inform the foreman of tool requirements.
• Follow written instructions.
• Assist with assembly’s when required.
• Ensuring a safe, clean and neat operating environment at all times.
• Ensure correct usage of hand, portable and power tools.
• Responsible for timely and accurate completion of all machining.
• Communicate effectively on machining targets and time lines.
• Recommend procedure or equipment to reduce costs while maintaining efficient productivity, quality and safety standards.
• Determine machinery maintenance required.
• Administrative duties include:
? General reporting.
? General administration.
