The successful incumbent will provide a service to ensure that allocated plant and equipment is maintained to the required standard in order to achieve the required availability.

Description

Minimum Requirements:
Maintenance of allocated plant and equipment is maintained to the required standard; with the required availability
Breakdowns and repairs as required
Adherence to Safety and housekeeping standards

Duties and responsibilities:
Must have Grade 12 or equivalent
Recognised Fitting Trade Certificate
Technical qualification in engineering would be advantageous
Must have 2-3 years’ experience in Manufacturing / mining environment
Excellent communication, writing, and time management skills
Basic knowledge of the Health and Safety Act 85 as amended
Be willing to perform standby work and overtime
