Our client in the Engineering sector is looking to engage the services of an artisan store man. The incumbent will be required to grind and regrind tools to the production schedule, plan and control of equipment all within the broader guidelines of company policies and code of conduct

Key performance areas
• To grind and regrind tools
• Dispatching of blunt tools for regrinding.
• Move hardware.
• Preservation
• Neatness of stores and offices.
• Arrange shelves and updating location on q-muzik.
• Marking of hardware.
• Receiving and issuing of production equipment.
• Tracing outstanding hardware.
• Setting up and removing of tools according to tool list.
• Tool fixture and gauge control.

Critical Skills

• Application of basic storekeeping knowledge and principles.
• Pc literate (application of microsoft office pack).
• Experience in administration.
• Application of basic storekeeping knowledge and principles
• Product knowledge.
• Problem solving.

Job requirements

• N3 Qualified artisan / Work related experience in tools setting.
• 1-3 Years’ Experience
• Courses in Quality.
