A Global Courier Leader committed to provide international connections seeks an ASP.Net Web Developer to join a team in building new and support existing front and back-end Web-based applications. Develop, test, support, and modify customer integration application systems and database systems, as well as document all systems designed and modified.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform complex web site design activities, which may require extensive research and analysis on the existing DotNetNuke web content management system based on Microsoft.Net
• Support and maintain current DotNetNuke web content management system front-end and back-end code
• Perform design, implementation, and maintenance of complex, multiple project modules and systems
• Conduct unit testing and integration testing for functionality
• Assist Project Managers in developing implementation plans, including the scheduling of project milestones
• Responsible for the functional integrity and proper operation of all assigned systems
• Develop, maintain, and debug, test, implement programs, shell scripts & scripts
• Maintain and verify all associated program source code
• Provide maintenance, support & disaster recovery for applications
• Develop user friendly internal use applications in support of business needs
• Create clear documentation
• Utilize time management
• Design, code, and publish user friendly and effective web front-end interfaces
• Collaborate with other team members, Business Analysts, and marketing team members to establish a consistent "look & feel" user experience
• Setup and maintain web server

Desired Qualifications – with proven experience:

• 3+ years using Microsoft's web stack (ASP.NET, IIS, SQL Server)
• 3+ years C#
• 3+ years VB.Net
• 3 + years SQL / T-SQL
• 3+ years HTML / CSS / JavaScript
• 1+ years jQuery (Plugin development a plus)

Solid Understanding of:

• Object Oriented Programming
• Relational Database Design
• Semantic XHTML/HTML5
• Unobtrusive JavaScript
• Web Services / AJAX
