PRODUCTION LINE MANAGER


The Line Manager / Production Manager will be responsible for the Assembly Line and will report to the Factory Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum: Production management and/or related qualification and experience.
Ideal: Related National Diploma / Degree in Production Management / Engineering.
Solid leadership/supervisory experience essential.
Able to show full commitment to achieve deadlines in a demanding environment.

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:
Aid the Assembly Department Manager in production planning and control
Maintain and adhere to quality standards at all times
Maintain stable production-delivery
Report daily on status of line activity
Ensure activity adherence maintained
Accountable for department budgets / cost savings
Manage time and attendance
Task assignment to Group Leaders (supervisors)
Achievement of health and safety standards
Ensure housekeeping in order
Implement appropriate corrective action where necessary
