Assessment and RPL Advisor

Location: Stellenbosch, Western Cape
Salary: R18k – R20k per month

About the Role:
Manage and oversee the effective development and delivery of specific External Integrated Summative Assessments (EISA) and maintain the implementation of the RPL strategy and of the specific RPL instruments for specific QCTO Qualifications. Effectively assist with the management of the quality and appropriateness of the RE examination question content.

Requirements:
At least 5 years’ Working experience in the insurance industry preferably in a claims or Training and Development Department, or a legal environment
Experience in the interpretation of legislation
Traveling on a regular basis is compulsory
Educational requirements: Insurance related post matric qualification
Understanding workplace qualifications registered with the QCTO
Understanding blended learning mythologies
Working experience in the Financial Services Industry within a claims environment
Project management skills
Comprehensive knowledge of RPL

Duties:
Assist with the EISA development process and the maintenance and updating of the EISA question bank
Liaise with relevant internal departments and external stakeholders for the successful planning and delivery of the EISA and RPL Induction sessions
Provide statistical analysis and reports to the QCTO as and when required
Consult with the QCTO and CEP’s as and when required
Maintain the RPL Strategy and the relevant assessment instruments
Facilitate RPL induction sessions and assist RPL candidates during the RPL process
Research and keep up to date with all applicable legislation relating to the regulatory examinations
Review questions that are impacted by changes in legislation and new legislation
Insure quality of question by liaising with subject matter experts and by moderating question content
Arrange appeals committee meetings and administer the outcomes thereof
