Experience Assessor with relevant insurance/forensic/investigation experience within the Short Term Insurance Industry – specific to Commercial Insurance, required to start asap.

Minimum requirements:
• Grade 12 essential
• Full Commercial qualification (NQF4 150 credits) and RE certificate preferred
• Minimum 2-3 years insurance/investigation, forensic experience required
• Minimum 5 years work experience in a similar role required
• Short Term Insurance knowledge essential
• Forensic investigative knowledge required
• Basic legal understanding required
• Investigative procedure and techniques – paper cars/hidden numbers, etc
• Must be willing to travel
• Own reliable transport required


Responsibilities:
• Contribute to the organisation goals by generating maximum savings, preventing fraud and managing expenditure
• Validate claims by using expert abilities in various fields of investigation
• Accurate administration and underwriting of claims
• Validation of claims by investigating, applying expertise, utilising resources (police, suppliers, etc) and interview customers and 3rd parties
• Enable effective costing of claimed items through professional investigation of claims
• Maintain acceptable claims expenditure ration (rejections, savings, etc) by validating and investigating claims accurately and in accordance with SLA’s
• Contributing to optimise work practice and procedures by maintaining an acceptable workload
• Uphold agreed SLA’s and ensure customer satisfaction
• Build, maintain and manage relationships with service providers and suppliers, colleagues and other stakeholders
• Deliver on TCF principles in alignment with regulatory requirements
• Daily check in – feedback and updates
• Validate facts on the road
• Investigate merits indentified
• Feedback by short interval controls
• Provide clarity on escalated complaints
• Record evidence relevant to investigation
