What the person must be able to do:

This role is in the Manufacturer of plumbing supplies sector. All duties would take place in this context.

Analysis
* Implement Computerised Maintenance System
* Ensure data in system is current
* Identify trends such as rework, repeat repairs, machines that repeatedly break

Planning
* Determine machines which are critical, key, supplemental, not needed
* Manage spare and stores

Metrics and Benchmarks
* Determine benchmarks for OEE, Uptime and MTR
* Monitor benchmarks

Problem Solving
* In collaboration with the maintenance team, perform root cause analysis on problem machines
* Identify machines which are getting old and beyond regular repair

Practices Optimisation
* Establish maintenance practices to ensure benchmarks are achieved
Key Job Deliverables:

* Reduce repeat machine issues
* Setup a Computerised Planned Maintenance System
* Ensure stores running optimally

Background work experience:

* 5+ years as maintenance artisan
* Adv: 3+ years as maintenance planner
* Qualified Artisan with Trade Certificate or Mechanical or Electrical Qualification
* Using computerised Asset Care Systems
* Root cause analysis
* RCM. TPM and Related Practices
* Adv: Has previously worked in metal or plastics Manufacturing Environment
