Our Client a Logistics Concern Is Looking for A Young Dynamic Qualified Assistant Accountant / Accountant in Century City Cape Town

Salary A Max of R 20 000 Pm Including Is Pension

Job Requirements
• Matric/ Grade 12
• Completed B.Com Accounting Degree (B.Com Honours Will Be Advantageous)
• Working Experience Will Be Advantageous
• Excellent Computer Literacy
• PASTEL Experience required
• Solid Understanding of Basic Accounting Principles.

Main Purpose
• Managing the Debtors and Creditors Function and Overseeing the Debtors and Creditors Team
• Preparing Monthly Transactions, Journal Entries and Income Statements
• Monitoring and Resolving Bank Issues E.G. Statement Queries
• Update and Reconcile Fixed Asset Registers and Co-Ordinate Company Insurance and Relevant Claims
• Assisting with General Reporting For 3 Business Units (Departments)
• Assisting with Internal and External Audit Requirements
• Assisting with The Preparation of Annual Budgets
• Reviewing and Preparation of Monthly Reconciliations
• Assisting the Financial Manager with Any Other Reasonable Tasks
