• Minimum requirements and experience:
• Completed matric
• Suitable financial or related qualification preferred
• SA citizenship
• Must have solid Pastel Accounting software experience (non-negotiable)
• Hospitality industry experience preferred
• 3 years’ + experience in financial accounting duties
• Pastel Payroll experience
• Duties:
• Report to Financial Accountant
• Monthly management account preparation
• Books to trial balance
• Bank reconciliation, posting and balancing
• Prepare sales invoices & reports on Pastel
• Daily bank receipts postings
• Set up new suppliers on Pastel
• Petty cash and other journal postings
• Processing statements to trial balance
• Dealing with SARS (statutory compliances)
• Assist with budget preparations
• Debtor and creditor reports
• Excellent MS Office skills
