Position: Assistant Accountant (Stellenbosch)

Salary: Basic salary R12 000 – R15 000 p/m depending on experience
Type of employment: Permanent position with probation period
To start: 1 May 2018 or earlier

Requirements:
• A completed Grade 12
• Completed bookkeeping or financial qualification
• Min of 2 years' experience in bookkeeping
• Solid experience of Pastel Accounting package
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Payprop experience is advantageous but not a strict requirement
• SAIPA or SAICA articles would be an advantage
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transport essential
• Solid experience of Microsoft Office packages (Excel, Word & Outlook)
• Able to work at a fast pace & be highly organized
• Ability to multitask
Duties
• Also assist as a Rental administrator
• Assist Financial manager with various tasks
• Full bookkeeping up to trial balance
• Account reconciliations
• Assist with statutory tasks
• Invoices and receipts
• Other financial tasks as required by the manager
