Qualifications required:
• 3 years Bookkeeping/Accounting experience
• Diploma or Degree in the Financial field an advantage
• Strong Excel Skills
• Great Plains Experience would be an advantage

Duties and responsibilities:
Inventory control processes:
• Process inventory adjustments
• Process inventory transfers
• Compile inventory reports as required
• Assist in the stock take process

Financial control process:
• Process monthly General Journal entries
• Maintenance of Fixed Asset Register : additions, disposals, depreciation and monthly register and report
• Monthly reconciliations of all Balance Sheet Recons
• Preparation of month end reports as required ie: Sales reports, actual vs budget reports, departmental reports
• Monthly preparation of VAT return on e-filing
• Ad hoc tasks as delegated by management
• To comply with the Quality Management System
