A position has become available within the Automotive industry and I am seeking the skills of an individual who has worked in a larger business and has 1-3 years’ Motor industry experience in a similar role. The incumbent should be comfortable working on a large book, can do both the debtors and creditors and have a good understanding of the principles of Accounting. It’s very important for this person to work well in an extremely pressurized environment. The company and culture is very easy going with a work hard, play hard attitude as there is a high volume of work that must be done but there is also a very jovial atmosphere with the team. There will be the occasional over-time or weekend work that will be required during month-end, please keep this in mind before applying.

Matric – essential

Diploma / Degree – advantageous



Skills & Experience:

1-3 years’ experience

Autoline / Kerridge or Automate experience essential

Strong technical skills



Job Description:

Daily banking, receipting, reconciliations, assisting with debtors and creditors books to be taken care of. This person must understand accounting and be comfortable working on a book of up to R100million in some months. I am looking for someone who isn’t afraid to work hard and has done this type of work in a previous position. The sales staff will often come to you to release cars to clients, you would then need to prove to the team whether payments have or have not been paid as yet, a strong personality would be required at times.
