An Assistant Accountant position has become available at one of my growing, successful clients, based in Paarden Eiland, Cape Town. This is a new role due to growing capacity at the company. Qualification:

NDip in Accounting or similar

BTech or BCom in Accounting or similar

SAIPA applicants welcome


Skills & Experience:

Minimum 2 years’ experience in Accounting

Must have worked in overseeing the Debtors and Creditors function before

ERP experience preferred

Strong Excel

A structured, problem-solving mind-set

Strong accuracy and detailed

Deadline-driven

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

A positive working attitude

Willingness to work overtime when needed

Strong administrative skills


Job Description:

This position is to assist the Financial Accountant with preparation in reconciliations, journals, GL, statutory returns, cash flow forecasting, tax schedules, BEE reports, month-end management packs and financial analysis, inter-company transactions, and general assistance in any ad-hoc requirements.
