Our Client in the Plastics Industry based in Durban is urgently looking for an Assistant Accountant , for a 6 months contract.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Cashbook processing
Cash reporting
Balance sheet and treasury reconciliations
Assisting with month end reporting requirements
Assisting with the Group Treasury Function
Assisting with secretarial document processing
Assisting with consolidating group reports
Assisting with internal and external audit requirements
Ensuring all finance documents are filed and maintained regularly
Performing any other ad hoc duties from time to time

REQUIREMENTS
Preferably a BCom degree in Accounting or a similar qualification
Finance and Cost Management experience
A Knowledge of the South African Tax Laws
3-4 Years’ experience
Manufacturing experience will be an advantage.
Advanced Computer Skills (MS Office)
Syspro experience will be an advantage.
