Accountant with B.Com Financial Management Degree and minimum 2 years’ relevant experience, required for a fixed term maternity fill-in contract.

Minimum requirements:
• B.Com Financial Management or similar degree essential
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role required
• Accpac experience preferred
• Financial Services Industry experience preferred
• Knowledge up to Trial Balance essential
• Advanced Excel essential

Responsibilities:
• Accounting function to Trial Balance – journals and importing/exporting and processing
• Account payable and receivable – capturing of invoices
• EFT’s
• Correct account, cost centre and company allocations
• Checking invoices
• Balance sheet reconciliations and allocations
• Payroll recons
• Assist with VAT recons
• Queries
• Prepare monthly reporting schedules and variance reporting
• Manage administrative documentation
• Running monthly commission statements
