Assistant Accounts Receivable Controller

Location: Benrose, JHB
Salary: R13k – R16k per month

Requirements:
Credit Management training with Articles an advantage.
5 years’ post articles experience in an Accounts Receivable department essential.
Strong end user abilities in MS Office and integrated accounting systems essential.

Reports to Finance Team Lead / Accounts Receivable Controller

Duties:
Responsible for being part of the team providing accounting and finance services on a secure integrated system that is established and maintained to support the needs of an expanding business in a controlled environment.
Key focus on allocated list of customers and taking direct responsibility of the timeous collection of all amounts owing to the company by these customers with active support in and coordination of resolving issues around disputed or queried amounts.
Support the business in decision making through the supply of high-quality timeous business position information and support to cross-functional projects.
Manage Local and Foreign Debtors allocated.
Process Bank Receipts to correct accounts.
Prepare, Reconcile and deliver updated information to the bank for discounting purposes.
Take an active role in participating in the Finance Team.
Assist other departments and Branches when necessary and needed.
Participate in projects like Stock Counts to ensure the integrity of reporting in the company.
Assist auditors with information, documents when requested to complete audit.
Assisting where ever possible to improve and sustain the administration of the business
