You don’t need to have major specific experience. We are looking for the right fit: the company is young, vibrant, energetic and hip. They are expanding fast and looking for an individual who can match their eagerness to learn and grow. Your job will include assisting the commercial accounting with exciting duties, becoming a “super-user” of Cognos, approving purchase orders raised by businesses, approving travel booking raised by businesses, assisting with the preparation of the monthly Management Accounts, including:

Ensuring all journals are posted correctly

Taking ownership of monthly management account accruals & provisions

Ensuring all costs and revenue allocations are correct

Assisting with preparations of sales commissions journals

Investigating any variance to budget & forecasts

Ensuring metric data is fully updated in packs

Assisting with intergroup accounting

Assisting with preparation and loading of the rolling forecast and annual budgets

Various ad-hoc analysis
