An exclusive housing estate with 5* Hotel and Spa, situated along the Garden Route seeks a qualified, young hotelier with formal qualifications and training.RequirementsMinimum Grade 12 qualification;Relevant tertiary qualification / Hotel School Diploma or Degree;Minimum 3 - 5 years in a similar position in a five-star establishment;Presentable, confident and efficient individual;Well-spoken with excellent communication skills in English;Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc;Sound knowledge of hotel operations;Exceptional administration, organizational, communication and interpersonal skillsAttention to detail and ability to perform under pressure and be a team player;Ability to work flexible hours;Preference will be given to PDI candidates; ResponsibilitiesAssisting in managing all F&B operations;Ensuring all F&B training requirements are met, including on the job training and practical assessments;Assisting managing the F&B budget and forecasting;Cost control;Operating Stock ControlEnsuring that food service operations are met and optimally maintained;Ensuring that guests receive excellent service;Efficient and courteous handling of complaints;Maintaining profits from F & B Sales;Maintaining a clean, tidy and hygienic environment;Daily Beverage sales and stock control.F&B SOP’s and Policys and Procedure A CV showing a stable work history, supported by written references, educational documents and a recent photograph must be forwarded to us.Please note: We can only consider candidates, who are already residing in the Garden Route area or are willing to relocate at their own expense to the area of Plettenberg Bay and Knysna.Only South African Citizens may apply!
