We are currently looking for an experienced ASSISTANT F&B MANAGER to join this well-established fast-growing 4 star Lodge, located in Bela Bela region of Limpopo.
This position requires the following job spec/trade but are not limited to:
Requirements for this job:
3 to 5 years’ experience in Managing a fully operational F&B department in a 4 or 5 Star Hotel / Lodge
Valid Food & Beverage Qualification,
Financial Understanding of Cost of Sales,
Good Computer skills in MS Office (Work, Excel, Outlook) and Micros
Reliable, Ethical, Confidentiality driven, Motivated, Sales Orientated, Honest, Passionate,
Ability to manage a Food & Beverage Department as a business unit.
Staff Training experience required
Attention to detail
Guest Service driven
Valid RSA Drivers licence and ID
Duties /Responsibilities
Staff Management (Training, Performance & Appraisals, Client Service, Policies & Procedures, SOP’s),
Relieve Food & Beverage Manager when required,
Development & Implementation of variety of Food & Beverage Procedures,
Able to achieve targets,
Equipment and Stock control,
Design, Implement and Manage Shift Schedules for staff,
Establish Food & Beverage budgets and Financial goals,
Monitor operations and ensure compliance with health, safety and high gene industry standards,
Accounting (Cash Flow, Bank Deposits, Budget, General Financial Statements)
Respond to client inquiries and/or complaints,
Develop & Implement marketing strategies,
Package Offered:
Salary negotiable (Based upon experience and qualifications),
Provident Fund 13% of Basic,
Live in single accommodation,
Meal provided whilst on shift,
Start: ASAP, subject to current notice period
