The ideal candidate will have a passion for farming, enjoy new challenges, will have good practical problem-solving skills and will be able to work independently. An agricultural qualification and/or relevant experience in the poultry industry will strengthen the application.

The incumbent will report to the Operations Manager and will be responsible for the effective management of production activities, which include:

• planning and supervising of production activities
• personnel management
• orders and purchases
• liaise with suppliers and specialists in the industry
• administration and record keeping

The incumbent will be required to be on duty after hours from time to time and on certain weekends. Compensation is negotiable and will be in line with qualifications and experience.
