An Accountant opportunity is now available in a Wealth orientated company within the Finance sector. A well-known company with offices centrally located is looking to add to their finance accounting team. This is immediately available and must not be ignored. The role is both operational and accounting in nature, it is a fixed term 6 month contract.

Skills & Experience:

Minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience in commercial and financial services sector

Preferably some experience in financial services

Job Description:

Produce monthly management reports for commercial group of companies

Reviewed cashbooks on all commercial companies daily

Manage back office point of sale queries

Attend monthly management meeting

Manage inputs/outputs monthly and report any variances

Manage and reconcile purchases on weekly basis

Reconcile invoices for the relevant divisions

Manage listing for all planning for all divisions

Authorise monthly and weekly payments

Review payment requisitions

Liaise with intercompany entities

Compile annual budgets

Attend monthly trustee meetings to review monthly reports

Calculate and submit monthly VAT returns

Oversee Cashbook department
