Assistant Financial Accountant

My Client a large corporate is seeking the services of an Assistant Financial Accountant. Your experience in overseeing the Creditors and Debtors function here counts in your favour. Whilst reporting to the Management Accountant, you will be exposed to all aspects of Cost and Management Accounting as well. Located in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town against traffic in most directions.
Reporting calculations requested by Management Accountant
Handle any discrepancies on recon sheets
Full responsibility of handling invoices in and outs
3rd party client accounts start to finish
General Ledger Account reconciliations
Monthly income journals
Asset Management ( Depreciation and Disposals )
Responsible for company monthly financial reporting and adhering to deadlines thereof.
Procurement Function (GRN's)
Full Cashbook function
Dealing with SARS. filing VAT returns
Payments and more Ad Hoc duties as and when requested.
Foreign payments and knowledge
ERP knowledge is essential
You will assist with year end preparation and procedures
Bcom Degree / Financial Qualification will be considered
4 -5 years experience in a FMCG / Manufacturing environment
