We are urgently recruiting for an Assistant Financial Controller.

Will be responsible for maintaining the General Ledger and other financial information.
Must have at least 2 years’ experience as a Financial Accountant.

MUST HAVE PASTAL EXPERIENCE.

Requirements:
• B Comm
• B Comm Honours – preferable
• CA Qualification

Duties:
• To manage the month end close off process in order to ensure deadlines are met and all capturing of the General Ledgers are complete
• Review of expense allocations completed by bookkeepers to ensure that expenses are allocated to the correct General Ledger accounts.
• Complete final month end journals for example – accruals / depreciation / salary journal from payroll
• Reconcile and submit the monthly VAT returns
• Review of all General Ledger reconciliations which include:

? all creditor reconciliations
? all debtor reconciliations
? all bank reconciliations
? petty cash and canteen reconciliations
