Work closely with the Financial Manager and be mentored and shaped into the next Financial Manager of a large company! Take control of the finance team and actively guide them on a day-to-day basis to reach the weekly and monthly targets. Be exposed to the bank reconciliations, reviewing of month end reconciliations, preparation of management accounts and forecasting of cash flow!



Qualification:

BCom Accounting or

National Diploma in Accounting

SAICA / SAIPA Articles completed, advantage



Skills & Experience:

3 years or more experience

Exposure to Pastel

Experience with VIP Payroll



Job Description:

Main duties and responsibilities will include:

Effectively manage a team of three employees

Take control over bank reconciliations

Actively review the month end reconciliations

Ensure control over the implementation, design and monitoring of financial procedures

Ensure the team complies with all accounting and regulatory obligations

Provide motivation to staff to ensure productivity

At times, assist with ad hoc projects when needed

Actively manage and forecast cash flows

Provide preparation and reporting on management accounts
